My husband and I stayed at Golden Dreams Inn last weekend and we were very impressed with the place. It’s an old Victorian house that’s been remodeled/updated. They put kitchenettes in all of the rooms that have full size refrigerators. The beds are super comfortable with bamboo sheets. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect, walking distance to downtown Grass Valley. We look forward to staying here again when we come back in the fall.

This place is the best kept secret in Nevada county, we were very lucky to get a booking at short notice. We had the "apartment" suite and it's really is an apartment. Massive living area and full kitchen with big washer dryer and full size range and refrigerator. Very very comfy bed and all you could ask for amenities wise. Beautiful garden and outdoor area with a BBQ, great for shall families and shall groups. VThe staff are very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We won't be staying anywhere else in town if this place is available!

We had a lovely stay in this picturesque Victorian inn. The check-in was automated and very simple. Elisha, our host was easily reachable. Beautiful fruit trees and garden with a good restaurant across the street and a 5 minute walk to a charming downtown with restaurants, clothing stores, a great kitchen store and fantastic game shop. A perfect stay!

Golden Dreams Inn is a cozy wonderful place to stay. Our family was trapped on snowy icy roads on a trip to Tahoe this weekend. When we finally made our way through, we had to turn all the way back to grass valley and it was a very late at night and there was no place taking reservations. The Golden Dreams Inn was a lifeline. They secured us two gorgeous rooms with king-size beds and told us to head on over. Lilli the night manager was an absolute lifesaver and handled our needs with care & urgency. The rooms were super clean and the place is decorated in the coolest way. We will definitely be staying here again whenever we are in grass Valley thank you all so much.

Stayed here for a wedding. The house is a beautiful Victorian style home. Rooms are rented out to guests. Entry is via keypad to the house and rooms so no key is a nice touch. The room is beautifully decorated with vintage touches and modern features. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker, clawfoot tub and vintage style handles. It was close to the main strip so walking to and from restaurants is very easy. The parking lot is a bit tight (I had a truck) so I had to maneuver a bit. Overall great time. The property was listed for sale so not sure what will happen in the future.
